Gerard Mosse is a contemporary French artist known for his painting, and drawing techniques. He was born in 1958 in Tours, France, and studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nantes.  His work has been exhibited widely in France and internationally, including at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Venice Biennale.

Mosse’s artworks often incorporate elements of vivid colors and bold compositions to create a sense of visual energy and movement.  The manner in which he layers paint creates texture in his paintings that conveys a sense of mystery and complexity.
