Tuskegee Airman
The portrait of a Tuskegee airman was made for the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, New York and is in its collection. I love the Tuskegee airmen, what they stood for and what they accomplished. They deserve to be honored. This painting is of a deceased young man who was a fighter pilot. When we had the ceremony for him at the museum, his entire remaining family was present and they all were crying. It was a wonderful experience and made me feel very privileged to be a part of it and to contribute to the memory of these brave Americans.
This is a portrait of Tuskegee airman Samuel Leftenant, who was killed in the World War II
